fitback and bumps

FitBack & Bumps is an exciting new Educational Exercise Programme bringing new mums and mums-to-be together to share their pregnancy experience. These are Antenatal exercise classes and Postnatal exercise classes with a difference!

Some of the things you can expect to learn include :

  • how to exercise safely during and after your pregnancy
  • how to improve your posture
  • how to reduce stress incontinence by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles
  • how to reduce pelvic and back pain by strengthening your core
  • how to flatten your tummy after pregnancy
  • why things may be hurting and how to fix them!
  • provides you the opportunity to meet other new mums and mums to be, developing lifelong friendships.

Each class has a maximum of 8 participants, which allows the exercises and information to be tailored to your needs and stage of pregnancy.

Each session lasts for 1 hour and covers a short topic of discussion followed by gym ball and mat based exercises. You will also be taught effective stretches to reduce joint and muscle stiffness and relaxation within the antenatal class.


Classes are held at M2 Tango Studio, Kapelvej 46c, 2200 Copenhagen N

This is a very cosy space with a separate kitchen area where you can relax and socialise before and after each class.

The studio is close to various bus lines and Forum Metro. Find travel directions for public transportation here

If you come by car you need to pay a parking fee to park in the area close to the studio.

However, on Saturday after 17.00 and all day Sunday it is free. Bicycles can be left in the yard which is locked.

The cost for the 4-week programme is 495 kroner. This includes your information pack full of advice and all of the exercises.

What equipment will you need?

You should wear comfortable clothing and will require your own anti-burst gym ball that will allow you to continue exercising outwith the sessions and can also be useful during labour. If, however, it proves too difficult for you to get a gym ball to the class we do have one or two spare which you can borrow.

Please feel free to contact us prior to the class for advice on the correct size of ball for your height and also for local suppliers.
