Research shows that 80% of women suffer from back and pelvic pain during and after pregnancy. This can result in multiple sick days or reduced performance in the workplace. Studies show that exercising during and after pregnancy can prevent back and pelvic pain as well as increasing self-esteem and overall well-being.

FitBack and Bumps® can come to your workplace, no matter how big or small, to teach our antenatal and postnatal educational exercise programmes.

Each 4 week programme combines a mix of core strengthening exercises and an educational component covering a range of topics to include:

  • how to exercise safely during and after your pregnancy
  • how to improve your posture
  • how to reduce stress incontinence by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles
  • how to reduce pelvic and back pain by strengthening your core
  • how to flatten your tummy after pregnancy

Classes could be taught in the morning before work starts, during your lunch break or at the end of the day. I am also available for presentations or workshops within your company. These can cover various ante or postnatal topics as listed above.

All that is required is a suitably sized room and some willing employees.
